I am wanting to revamp my music classroom so that it is a safe space for my students. In the current classroom, It is very bare and sterile in terms of learning. I am wanting to start this project in hopes of being able to better help my students learn, but also being able to create a space that will let my students feel comfortable. Every music classroom has this ability to be a safe space because music itself is very intimidating. When we play music, we become very vulnerable, not only to our peers, but to our inner thoughts as well. The purpose of this project is to help harbor my students' natural abilities to be able to learn, to make music, to be vulnerable and safe at the same time.
