In my Chinese classes, students give presentations often because it allows them to practice speaking in front of a crowd and share what they feel most passionate about. Despite their enthusiasm, it is hard for my students to give very effective presentations because using my tiny laptop screen and sitting at my desk with a wired keyboard and mouse turns what would be an exciting presentation into a cumbersome battle with technology. Every time students have to tell me to click "Next" or push certain buttons during the presentation. It always interrupts their flow and leads to awkward pauses sometimes even embarrassment. It would be amazingly helpful if students could use a decent wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and an extra screen to make their presentations go smoother (which I know would lead to greater confidence in presenting and in life). Students would also be able to use the new technology to give awesome group presentations.
