In my classroom I love to be actively engaged and with my students as much as possible. I love when students can share ideas with the class and learn from each other. I hope they know that our best learning comes from sharing ideas, even through struggles. As a teacher I can use the iPad as a portable whiteboard and a way for students to share their thinking. I can walk around the room and work with the students as we are discussing and solving problems. Students can share ideas of a concept on the iPad as they explain it to the rest of the class. I can use this when students are in quarantine. Even though I try to plan the best digital lessons I can, nothing can replace the instruction you get in a classroom. The iPad allow me to record myself teaching. The videos can also be used for students who are in class, but maybe struggling and it would be helpful for them to hear the explanation again.
