Access to technology has always been essential to a student's learning. That has never been more evident than in the last two years of these students' lives. Trying to keep up with the ever-advancing world of technology is difficult on its own. Combine that advancement with remote learning and hybrid classes - the difficulty increases. Mix in quarantines, illness, isolation, depression, and loneliness; it's no wonder that students are struggling to stay engaged when so many are feeling a lack of support and safety. Donating to this project will help provide more resources and opportunities for students to engage with each other and learn marketable skills for their future. Providing access to software applications that are commonly used, cameras for videos and photography, and the ability to turn these creations into art or information are invaluable skills needed to succeed in not only education but life. My students will love having access to these Ipads to improve their projects and learn what this valuable technology is capable of doing for them if they can learn how to use it. Through several different project-based learning activities (marketing, photo editing, architecture) and many different classes (College and Career Awareness, Digital Literacy, Foods, Keyboarding) these items will be used to improve student learning, engagement, and success.
