I travel around our district to provide specialized services to blind and visually impaired students from preschool through 9th grade. Each of their needs are unique from making things accessible such as providing new black dry erase markers to their general education teachers so they can see the white board better or providing book stands so they are not bending over to see their materials. I selected supplies and tools such as puzzles and wiki sticks that help building pre-braille concepts through hand strength, tracking and coordination. Some requested items include tools I need to update my assessment kit which helps identify needs and determine visual strengths and weaknesses and best sensory learning methods.
