A lot of my kids are struggling readers. I encourage them to keep trying and when they say they don't like reading, I tell them they just haven't found the right book yet. This project helps my students be able to see the variety in literature and provides them with some basic needs to be successful in school. I want my students to love reading. This means the more options I have for them to read, the more likely they will be able to find a book that interests them and makes them want to read more.
