Students will be able to test how changes is water's density through temperature and salinity affect the circulation of water on our planet. Students would make predictions about how liquids will behave, make observations, and change variables to test for different results. This lab would connect students with the curriculum and their world through interactive learning and engagement. Hands-on experiments are vital for student learning, especially ELL students and SPED students. Many of my students fall into one or both categories, so it is important that I find ways for them to experience the science concepts I teach.
