Covid 19 has had a tremendous effect on my classroom. Due to the fact that my students require extensive support when learning, they often don't do well or cannot join us when we have virtual learning. Because of that, when students are in the classroom, we need to make the most of our available time. My students use iPads daily in the classroom as a tool for learning. We use educational apps to teach and reinforce concepts that are important for transition. We are currently using iPads that are old, but we were generously donated to our classroom. Unfortunately, due to the progression of technology and updates, many of our iPads are now obsolete. We are in great need of new technology. This grant will enable us to begin to rotate through our technology and replace a couple of the iPads that are no longer functional.
