Kindergartners are always moving! Tools to move and manipulative while learning are just what my students need. Magnets and lights, blocks and tiles are all things that my students enjoy. The Color-Changing Light Center and the Stand-Up Magnetic Design Center will be extra motivating tools that will allow my students to represent their thinking and share it with others. These learning tools can be used by all students in a variety of ways to enhance learning for all subjects and content areas. The Light and Design centers can be used for small-group instruction with a teacher or also for independent practice and/or group activities. Both can be used with manipulatives in math, literacy, science, and social studies. The learning possibilities are endless!
