One of the things that is the most fun to do with Animation is filming Stop Motion movies. With Stop Motion students can work together in groups using iPads and tripods to catch the action. They create scenes and story lines using LEGO and minifigures. Their creativity comes together as they merge their ideas into one. The best part about watching them work is seeing their excitement with their story and the filming process. They love to have epic battle scenes and funny unexpected moments come to life in front of them. The synergy really flows at this time. Being able to do something together, after such a long time of being told they have to stay separated is socially and emotionally healing. Students really thrive with this project.
