I am creating a leveled reading center for students in a low level reading class. We have made reading centers to help students learn their letters and sounds. We will also use these supplies to help each student learn to blend CVC words and then read them in context of the books provided in the class leveled library. We are building a core of students who with compassion help those who need help in reading. Peer buddies. One of the greater features of our program is the peer tutor component that we have created. We have access to higher grade level students who are invited to come into our class and read TO, WITH, and BY our students.
