As a FCS (Family and Consumer Science) and CCA (College and Career Awareness) teacher, I teach skills my students will use for the rest of their lives. I love to include hands-on activities and projects as a way to help students learn about the real world. My students thrive with hands on activities and these materials will benefit my students in so many ways. They will be able to enhance their projects and take their learning to the next level. My students are always looking for ways to apply what they are learning now to their lives. My 8th grade Clothing & Design class focuses on learning about the clothing industry. With the resources they will be able to imagine, design, and create their own clothing brand as well as produce different articles of clothing.
