Flexible seating will help growth and brain development by allowing students to move more freely while learning. Our classroom would love some new functional and flexible seating. We would love to have some wiggle stools and exercise balls for seating. Having flexible seating allows children to move, rock, bounce, wobble, and rock which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. It also helps students be more alert and focused. They can also use the bubble seats while on the floor. It gives students choices and allows for movement so they can stay on task. We would love these in our classroom!
