I try to stock a food pantry in my classroom, as many of our students go without enough food at home. Since the pandemic started, I've seen a huge increase in the number of students going to my pantry each day and I am struggling to keep up with the demand. Donations to this project will allow me to offer granola bars and other snacks to students who didn't get breakfast, may not get dinner, or find themselves needing additional food throughout the day in order to be successful. Students cannot be expected to learn without their basic needs being met. These snacks will allow for students to focus on education rather than their basic needs
