Using the Oculus Quest 2 in my classroom would be beneficial in multiple ways. It allows them to experience new things involving culture, people, and other social aspects, which makes for a great communication activity. It is also a great tool to use in management to keep your students active in working towards the reward. It helps with their emotional wellness as they are able to "escape to a new world" and take a break from their emotional struggles. Having the option to cast onto the computer/screen allows for other students to be involved in the activity. Students crave the feeling of inclusion inside the classroom. Using the Qball microphone allows social wellness to be strengthened every time it is in use. It helps students share their knowledge in new ways and makes it fun, exciting, and engaging. It encourages students to get out of their social bubble and talk to new people. It is a great management strategy as it allows the kids to work towards a whole class reward.
