I have always wanted to have microscopes in my classroom. This is a perfect opportunity for that to happen. Our school doesn't have any and to be able hook up the new ones to my computer would be really exciting for me and the students. The science standard for 5th grade in Utah is to study particles. I feel that by looking through a microscope and seeing that things are made up of smaller parts will help students see a part of their lives that they are not aware of.
