I have made it a goal this year to find ways to incorporate technology in my class, especially because I have more distance learners because of Covid-19 than I have in past years. Because of this goal, I chose to focus my Donors Choose project on helping me implement technology better in my class. By donating an iPad to my classroom, students will be able to foster appropriate technology skills that will not only help them in my class, but, most importantly, will help them throughout their lives. In a world where students have such access to technology, I feel it is so important to help them learn how to use it to enhance their learning and improve their understanding of the world around them. If my students were to have access to this iPad in my class, they would be able to participate in projects, use tools, and hone skills that were not available to them previously. This will go beyond the classroom and show them how to use technology to help them learn in the future. Thank you for your consideration.
