I work at a school that is committed to staying in session as much as possible. This means that kids are almost guaranteed time in "The Little Theatre" creating, collaborating, performing, and evaluating. I run a program that is dedicated to teaching core content through all aspects of theatre, including technical aspects. In other words, reading and acting are important but we do so much more! Most of the items I am requesting are costumes that are the right size for elementary school-aged kids as well as quality stage makeup items most kids don't use until high school. Kids are very capable of succeeding at complex artistic goals and love the full immersive experience these lessons offer. We will be performing one-act plays, writing and performing monologues based on biographical research, modeling animal movement and the reasons for it, and so much more.
