From the perspective of a special education teacher and also a grandmother of a special needs child, one of the most important things that our children can learn is interpersonal skills. Our students need to feel acceptance and love just like anyone else. This workspace will provide a great space for collaboration, social skills practice and life skills training where my students can face one another and interact with their peers. When my students work with their peers they learn vital skills and make friends that will last a lifetime.
