Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, my students express feeling a loss of connection to each other. Stories are a powerful way to connect with one another. I want to bring more diverse and inclusive stories into both my English and Theatre classrooms in the form of novels and scripts, along with some of the supplies we'll need to bring these stories to life on stage. As a teacher of both Theatre and English, I know that storytelling is one of the most powerful paths to connection, understanding, and empathy. Help me provide my students with beautiful and diverse stories that will help us see the world and one another with new understanding.
