As a teacher-librarian, I support students' information literacy skills and reading skills. The benefits of reading for fun has shown to positively impact students' mental and emotional well being. A successful library has a book that appeals to each student in some way. By offering a variety of titles, the library can support students through this pandemic as they read for fun, an assignment, or to seek information. By supplying books to students, we will help them find a break from the negative effects of the pandemic, the constant connection to an online platform, and the daily requirements of in-person and online learning.

About my class
