Because of COVID-19, students have done a lot of school work via technology. A lot of their instruction involves videos and audio. If students have headphones that are not good quality and are not usable, then it affects the quality of their learning. There have been times when my students do not have working headphones but need to listen to a video. Therefore, they have to play the video/audio out loud and therefore it distracts the classmates around them. I believe headphones would help students gain a valuable educational experience while not distracting others around them. Students will be able to focus, learn, and accomplish the school task at hand.
