The manipulatives I have chosen will be used in the classroom setting to help engage students in foundational math concepts that will heighten their understanding of foundational math skills they are lacking because of the recent pandemic. I want to give my students a large variety of games and fun while learning with their peers. Having my students engage in fun and playful learning opportunities will help them deepen their understanding of multiplication, division, and fraction concepts without the stress or boredom of flashcards, and worksheets. It will help them become students who want to learn. These math centers will also give students the opportunity to teach each other as their experience with the concepts moves them from emerging learners to masters.
