These resources will help build a new and relevant classroom library. It will include classic books that teach valuable lessons in social-emotional learning. It will also give students books on their level to build confidence as readers. Using these resources in my classroom will also allow me as a teacher to dive into phonics and phonemic awareness to help build early literacy skills that will guide students to success in learning, reading, and writing. I hope to help my students overcome the struggles that are a result of entering school during the COVID-19 pandemic.
