The only way to model the love of reading is to do it with actual books. Students will be able to read books at their own level. Students want to connect with literature and putting a book in everyone child's hands is the key. Giving a child a book like "Poppy" that aligns with the topic and skills enhances the knowledge and possibilities become endless. When students go from learning to read to reading to learn in third grade, they will have many rich opportunities with the sets of class novels.
