At the beginning of the new year, I had my students spend time setting learning goals for themselves. One common goal between my students stood out above all the rest: "I want to improve my reading." My class loves books and can't wait to go to the Library each week to pick out a new and exciting story. However, given their disabilities and time spent doing Distance Learning, reading is a continuing challenge for my students. This project will allow me to incorporate more engaging reading curriculum into our daily classroom routine, and help my students reach their learning goals! Curriculum in my classroom is taught in small, leveled groups. This gives students an opportunity to accelerate at their own pace without pressure from peers, and allows me to provide them extra support as needed. These resources will be a fantastic way to teach students reading and writing at their individual level. Help me improve my student's academic achievement by using resources that meets their unique learning needs!
