My students are working on their story telling skills, with a focus on dialogue. What better way to improve these skills then to practice with picture books? The story is there, they just have to work to tell it! These books will help my budding writers enhance their story-telling abilities. Students will be grouped in teams of four. Each team will have a copy of the book. They will work together to tell the story and to apply dialogue for the characters. These picture books will meet the diverse needs of my students. Those who are struggling learners will be able to easily access the material and those who are more adept will be able to craft more intricate tales.
