This printer will continue to enhance life skills in my classroom. We started small, learning to tie-dye clothing, moving to keeping inventory, costs, and sales to make a profit. My students don’t make much on these projects, but enough to replenish their supplies. The major gain is in life skills, emotional growth, and learning skills they can take with them to the outside world, giving them a form of independence outside of school. They may never be able to be truly independent from caregivers, but this will give them a great start, especially as they explore and learn, trying new things. We are excited to expand the tie dye business to adding heat press vinyls, slogans, images, and much more.
