Seating for our reading nook provides our students with opportunities to make reading more meaningful and enjoyable. We have focused on making our reading area a comfortable and enjoyable space. They have really enjoyed this part of the day. My students love carpet time as well when they are able to get out of their seats for a short time to work with partners. This will allow them a bigger space for gathering during reading workshop and during our read aloud time. With this pandemic, we have learned to appreciate every opportunity to gather together!
