Graphing is not easy. Making a mental image of your algebraic work is hard. Having a calculator makes it a little easier to understand for my ESL students to learn. Students can see how an equation behaves in the graphing calculator to help them understand the lesson more clearly. When we start learning graphing inequalities functions, we sometimes use highlighters to see those differences but to see them in an instant and be able to use the precious time for other topics and learn more is the gift you would be giving.

About my class
