My students love to have a variety of seating. It gives them independence and fosters calmness and creativity. When we practice math and play math games in my class I give students the option to sit where they would like. I created a "calm corner" in our classroom and I think these are the perfect additions to enhance the learning area. Students love sitting on rugs with clipboards, or playing fun games like "KABOOM" in a large group. I would also be utilizing the table to assist students in small math groups. This targets individualized instruction and fosters connections.
