These materials will be used to help the students in the areas of reading and math. The children love puzzles! So, the word puzzles will allow them to sound out their letters when making three to four letter words. The math puzzles will help them with making their Number sense concepts more concrete. They will be able to find numbers on the 120 chart and mark them. In addition, they can work with the ten frames to master addition and subtraction. My students have trouble with keeping things organized so their seat sacks will help them have a "home" for folders, notebooks, pencils, and math manipulatives. Since the children are social distanced at this time, the materials have to be separate and individual. So, the dry erase pockets will come in handy to give each child practice sheets they can reuse for all subjects: reading, writing, and math.
