This calming and comfortable rug will make a tremendous difference in our classroom. Currently, the students gather for large group activities on the floor and use duct tape as seat markers. The tape tends to peel and get dirty, which is not only uncomfortable but also causes distractions. This carpet provides neutral-colored squares that the preschoolers can use to find a spot to sit. Self-regulation is a huge part of our curriculum, so it is so important to provide the children with mediators to help them stay attentive to the lesson. This carpet would do just the trick!
