I love to keep up to date classroom library books that I can read sections from to get students excited about reading and actually enjoying it! Each time I read a book I always give my students a book talk so they will think about giving it a chance. The more books and genres they try the more they are open to ideas and exposed to new vocabulary. We have days that students can do silent reading when we finish early and they love having the books that are current and have heard me talk about available to them to try.
