The construction paper and markers will give my students the opportunity to have more art projects and not worry about running out of materials. This will be a fun way to incorporate creativity and expression of students when it comes to learning history. These books will also encourage students to read more historical fiction and improve their reading skills. It is important to me to have diverse books in my classroom. Having a set of whiteboards will help incorporate more group activities with my students, such as class discussions and debates. This will help students use their critical thinking skills and practice their academic language using historical events. Group activities encourage students to participate more and also help each other out.

About my class
