These materials will help my students by providing them with tools that will enhance their sensory play, their fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, hand-eye coordination, color recognition, shape recognition, letter recognition, and so much more. These materials will also give my children the opportunity to gain independence by allowing them the ability to engage in fun, student led activities. Research has shown that play based learning helps children in academic programs by enhancing their memory, self-regulation, and cognitive flexibility and it is my aspiration that by adding these materials, they will do just that for my children.

About my class
