Our current kitchen set is very small that only has room for 1-2 students to use it at a time. It has had lots of love in the past few years. We are missing pieces and some are broken. We utilize the kitchen area to work on sharing, taking turns, asking 'why' and 'how' questions to deepen our student's thinking through play. By getting a new kitchen with more food items my students will be able to expand their exploration and imagination with items that they may or may not have in their home. If they do not have items similar to that in their home that we have in our play kitchen it is a great opportunity for us to expand their vocabulary and world of play!
