My diverse group of special needs students want to absorb all accessible Social Studies knowledge about the world around them. They crave to learn how history affects the past, present, and future. Interactive Social Studies games and activities will not only help them learn course content, but will promote lifelong skills such as cultural awareness, communication, and respect. The individual needs of my students enhance their classroom experience by providing them the opportunity to experience diversity within the classroom setting . The benefit of engaging experiences will impact their ability to prepare for, thus affect, a positive future.
