I like to teach electrical circuitry in physical science to 8th graders to teach the concepts of electron flow, metal conductance, voltage, electrical resistance, circuits, and electrostatic attraction. These concepts help students learn at least 4 science standards. I have used these kits previously with middle school students at another school, and the students loved using them. The learning of the science standards was very successful as measured by my assessments. With these kits, each kid will have his/her/their own kit used to create dozens of electrical circuits and learn a multitude of science concepts, most importantly, at their own pace.
