Students will use these supplies to develop and enhance their ability to work as a team, utilize problem-solving and inquiry to build recognition that the engineering design process is an organized method that can be used to solve problems. That problem can result in the development of multiple possible solutions and that by sharing ideas and demonstrating a willingness to take chances they can accomplish more together than they can by themselves. The most dynamic value that these lessons teach students is the idea that in sharing and helping one another, learning new things becomes much more important than competition and thinking one is better than any one else.
