Students will be able to learn more material in the classroom if they have social skills to help them navigate through these trying times. Our students have been affected greatly by the pandemic and mental health is much more needed in schools. With the group counseling, individual counseling, and classroom counseling curriculum I will be able to purchase through Teachers Pay Teachers, I will be able to reach over 400 students and help them build skills for learning and for life. My impact would be tremendously larger if I had the curriculum I am asking for. It would free up a lot more time so that I may focus more on the delivery of the school counseling program rather than the management aspect.
