These items will be used to support my students' social emotional learning, help teach them coping skills, and create a comforting environment for them to come to when they need extra support. It's important for my counseling office to be a comfortable landing space for kids when they are upset, which why the bean bag would be a great addition to my space. The other items will help to teach my students social skills, to learn about their emotions, and to add some fun to our counseling sessions. Because my students all deal with varying levels of developmental disabilities, it's even more important for them to learn these social and cooling skills as they progress through school and life.

About my class
