The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted the education field, especially districts and schools in under-resourced neighborhoods. During shifts to virtual and hybrid learning, many of my students have had drastic disruptions in their learning due to the lack of adequate home educational resources and technology. This has furthered already existing learning inequities and academic gaps. The tablets and computers will be used by students both at home and in schools. The printer will be used within the classroom to print instructional materials. As a school of over 900 students and 100 staff members, our printer has been unable to keep up with the demands of printing. Additionally, the pandemic has brought stocking issues for printer parts and toner. This has led to not having the instructional materials we need to allow our students to practice regularly. All students deserve access to a quality education without barriers involving a lack of resources. Please help me by supporting this push for needed technology.
