Students are constantly moving around chairs, sometimes holding them over their heads, so they can have a place to sit at our small group tables. This has caused an often chaotic and unsafe environment for my kids that I hope to solve. Many of my students thrive with movement and choices, so these different seating options will support their focus and ultimately, their growth in 1st grade! These flexible seating options will also allow my students to have a readily available spot to sit at our 2 small group tables, so they can receive individualized support and also collaborate with their peers.
