I have started a cornhole club here at my school. I figured it is a good way to teach math through the scoring process, especially positive and negative integers, and a way for the students to build positive relationships with myself as a new teacher to the district, and students in other classes and grades. My students look forward to the friendly competition and social interaction, and I sneak in math lessons as we play. The two cornhole sets that I currently have for the club are not the most ideal. I have a set of cornhole boards that I brought from home, and there was also a set in the school gym. Neither set is of great quality, and the boards slide quite a bit on the school floors. Also, as my team grows, we do not have enough equipment for all students to play.
