Percussion and rhythm instruments not only help students learn musical themes like keeping the beat and tempo, but they also enables the growth of gross motor skills. These instruments would be used almost DAILY in our lessons to better our students comprehension of staple music themes. These instruments would not only be used for fun, but also to promote optimal learning in the music classroom. From keeping time to the beat, to learning different simple and complex rhythms, to even learning cultural diversity, these percussion instruments would get their use BIG TIME in our classroom!
