The robot car will combine unit lessons on electrical energy and computerized coding. Students will be asked to create an instruction manual and write down step-by-step instructions as they code their robot. Through this robotic project, students will learn much more than just coding or energy. They will learn how to problem solve, be an effective leader, communicate within a given team, and learn important skills that will translate into the 21st century workforce. This robotic project is the first STEAM project of its kind and will hopefully inspire a new wave of engineers for the future.

About my class
