The rug will give my students a comfortable space to sit during morning meetings, read aloud, hands and partner projects. My students do not enjoy sitting directly on the cold floor and I try my best to keep my students engaged and learning from each other. I find this works best when they are not sitting at their tables but on the floor where they have the opportunity and are encouraged to share ideas and opinions. I feel a rug, that is big enough to accommodate them would be perfect!
