I am asking for a variety of resources. My students will be able to do math on their own using pattern blocks , tiles and other manipulatives. As John's Dewey's Theory of Constructivism, states "Learning is by doing" and mathematics can easily understood by doing it instead on just focusing on complex concepts.. The geo boards will help in several group activities and math challenges. The tangrams will help in understanding geometry more. The printer will help in printing more activities and math manipulatives that we cannot purchase. As a math teacher, I can see the vital role of manipulatives in making the Math classroom fun and engaging.
