These wobble stools and cushions will help immensely in my reading groups. As a Reading Specialist, I am providing small-group reading instruction for our most fragile readers in our school. The pandemic has greatly affected the confidence of my readers as well as their exposure to explicit, in-person reading instruction. Many of my readers are aware of their reading struggles and are eager to improve. Along with their desire to read "what everyone else is reading," they are looking for sensory output as they navigate their reading challenges. These wobble stools and cushions will give students an outlet for their excess energy to increase focus, participation, and confidence in reading!
